The station has been pretty schizophrenic since signing on with ABC Oldies & Don Imus, then switching to Classic Rock, and now doing a Jack FM kind of format, but is continuing to air Tom Kent's canned oldies show at night.
Don't know much about the IL half of the ownership, but the station is half owned by Steve Kaspar, who has has been part owner of KWRE & KFAV along with his father Vern for many years, and both are Top Notch stations.
100.7 sounds 10 Million times better since Raley came in. Raley and Craig Cornett's old sidekick Bo Vine put on a pretty entertaining show.
And Jasmine, it was the same Chris Knight from the Q days, but he already came and went.
While the station sounds good musically and personality wise, I don' t think the station will ever become popular in the St. Charles area - the signal just is too weak there. This is a Class A about 40 miles away...
