Well, according to Fox Sports and Joe Buck, St.Louis is NOT WEST of the Mississippi River (in 1954) as a major league baseball franchise! The Cards have only been in the league since 1892. Till 1953 there were 2 teams west of the river..west of Grand Ave....The Cards and the Browns. Joe and Tim, with St.Louis ties didn't even challenge that so- called fact about baseall in 1954...when the Giants won it all. I hope Joe Buck is chewed out about his silence or stupidity around St.Louis.
