I have had the priviledge to see the Bruce twice in concert. Both times were in Asheville,North Carolina. Once at the now defunct "Be Here Now", and the last time at the "Diana Wortham Theater" in 2000 just across the street. I waited after the show at Be here Now and asked Bruce to sign a shirt I purchased at the show for Hugh my brother who is Cherokee, (Me Too). Because of illness, he could not make the show. I was m turned on to Bruce by said Bro', and am grateful to him because of that. Both shows were fantastic, with the exception being the crowd at the Wortham performance were stiff as kiln dried pine boards.
My then girlfriend and I were the few who danced all the way through the concert! We had a blast!
Anyway, I am Waiting on a Miracle. I just found out the new tour destinations and much to my surprise, sadly, "Big Medicine Bruce" will not traverse to the Southlands this tour! I was hoping to see him here in Greenville South Carolina and had started to make inquiries in regards to securing a very nice venue here(The Peace Center/www.peacecenter.org)when I fell quite ill for several months. In the meantime we moved. Throw in a then 4 month old and...well you get the picture.Crikey! Bruce, If you happen to read this please, please consider a southern stop this year and perhaps a "Tour" at some point. Wa-do
