I saw bruce perform at madison on 15th and he did peggy's kitchen wall as a 2nd encore and made the same statement- given bruce's penchant for political commentary through irony....i took it that he meant something in our political system died the week before- was after news broke that fbi had been spying on us through misuse of "patriot" act.
