Here's something cool I thought I'd pass along.
You can become a part of Broadway!
The Broadway League's new Kids' Advisory Board is an integral part of the League's effort to create programs focused on bringing young audiences to the theatre, including Kids' Night on Broadway.
We need your help. If you are a kid age 11 to 16, we invite you to apply to become a member of the Board. If selected, you'll advise us on how to develop special events, publications, and websites for kids. And you'll get to have dinner with Kids' Night on Broadway National Ambassador Rosie O'Donnell!
The Kids' Advisory Board will meet twice a year in New York City. You must be available to participate in person on February 3, 2009. If you live outside the NYC metro area, we'll provide airfare and hotel accommodations for you for the February 3rd meeting and you can participate via conference call for the second meeting.
Applicants must write a brief essay on three topics. Applications must be submitted by December 1, 2008.
