As an auditionee, I'd have to echo 99% of what Dennis said. The staff-auditionee ratio meant we each had a lot more individual attention, which was a nice feeling. I was skeptical going into the process as to whether the sessions would be overbooked, but as Dennis pointed out, the hour was plenty of time for the group I was in.
The audition was not stress-free, nor was it "relaxing" (as was one of the options to describe the experience on the exit survey). But some things aren't supposed to be relaxing. People, for example, don't go to the dentist because they want a couple hours away from it all. That said, the audition experience was a lot more pleasant than a trip to the dentist. It was exhilarating in the good way an audition should be.
The only thing I wasn't 100% crazy-in-love with was the actual audition location. The dining hall at The Hoog doesn't have the best acoustics in the world, and from my seat in the "holding area," I had a lovely view of a pillar. These are extremely minor quibbles, though.
Oh, and I was disappointed that Steve Rotello didn't tell me "it all sounded a little karaoke" to him.
