Hi everyone!
I'm sorry to post this request here, but it's the only way I know of to quickly get in touch with a large number of people I know back home in a short period of time. I promise I'll throw some theater in at the end. (Plus my research is centered directly in arts practice, so it kind of fits here.)
In the next few weeks, I will be returning to the USA to collect data for my Master's thesis. For my research, I will be studying one Chicago school and another in Danville for two weeks each...the reasons for which I would be happy to explain in another venue because I know it seems like a really odd choice.
Anyhow, my dilemma for which I am seeking assistance:
I am a VERY, VERY poor college student at the moment and am hoping I can find either extremely inexpensive or free accommodation in the Chicago and Danville/Champaign area for two weeks each. Does anyone know of anyone who could help or have any ideas on how I might be able to accomplish this without going bankrupt? I'm having a few sleepless nights over this so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Theater news:
This week I'm the sound designer for my third show at the ADC Theatre in Cambridge this term. Somehow I've managed to squeeze in academics, ice hockey, and theatre while studying abroad. I guess a little insanity doesn't hurt.
