I heard this from a couple of other people this morning. I assure you, I, as stage manager, intend to add a "please turn off your cell phones AND please, please, please do NOT text message during the production. It is quite distracting to people trying to watch the show and considered a severe violation of theater etiquette" to my opening announcement.
