Darwin the Dinosaur
Sangamon Auditorium will present a great family event, Darwin the Dinosaur, on Friday, October 16 at 7 p.m. This unique performance uses movement and sculpted LED-like light to tell a story about a scientist and several animals, including a couple of dinosaurs who fight with light sabers. How cool is that?!?!
As an added bonus, kids age 8 to 16 can participate in a one-hour Saturday morning workshop with the artistic directors. These artistic directors were principal dancers in the original cast of Movin' Out on Broadway, but don't worry - their workshop will be about theatre and movement, not dance.
