AUDITIONS for the STUDENT DIRECTED SCENES are next week!
WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 3:45pm – 6pm
Thursday, Oct. 29th, 2pm – 4:30pm
WHERE: UIS Campus, VPA 170
Rehearsal times for each scene will vary depending on each director's schedule--many will be weekdays (during the day) & weekends; some in the early evenings. For an audition form that includes tentative rehearsal times for individual scenes, e-mail: mthom1@uis.edu. ALL ARE WELCOME TO AUDITION!
Scenes will come from the following plays:
Proof by David Auburn (directed by Jessica Fraser)
Butterflies are Free by Leonard Gershe (directed by An Mowers)
Reasons to be Pretty by Neil LaBute (directed by Doug Hall)
The Heidi Chronicles by Wendy Wasserstein (directed by Carol Schulte)
A Lie of the Mind by Sam Shepard (directed by Demetrius Cruz)
Fences by August Wilson (directed by Bianca Shaw)
Apt. 3A by Jeff Daniels (directed by Ben Beams)
Lonestar by James McLure (directed by Matt Craven)
Women of Manhattan by John Patrick Shanley (directed by Karina Diaz)
Scenes will be performed on Dec. 8 & 9 at 7:30pm in the Studio Theatre.
