Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Well travel to Jacksonville to see MacMurray College's production of Arsenic and Old Lace. It runs Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 in the little blackbox theatre. You can ask me for directions. Tickets are $5. It is recommended that you make reservations by calling (217) 479-7208 or emailing theatre.dept@mac.edu
It is directed by Rich McCoy. This is a fantastic cast and a great show. I'm Teddy Brewster, and do what I'm told is a hilarious performance. Springfield actor Jacob House is also in it playing Jonathan Brewster and he does a fantastic job. Rich has done an amazing job on the set, and of all the sets I've seen that he's built, I think that this is truly the best one based on the performing space that we have.
