Just a few words as i leave to New Zealand for 6 months on Monday. I came to Newcastle 6 years ago and yes i Knew no-one. Paddy was my first friend, yes I hear you say ####ing hell. Apparently if it was not for paddy i would have no friends. My first season i played in the reserves under the leadership of pollard, with the liKes of taffy, roger(do you ####ing want someone), unforgettable moment, franK, hopKins the two mad norweigens who played with wacKy
bacKy under their gums. Probably the best season i had at garnett and the people in that team understand why, unbelievable cracK. I have made some great friends and lifelong friends I could list them all but you Know who you are. I even get invited to some weddings even though i have a reputation for being a dicK head. I have many stories to tell on nights out with the green and blacK. This is a great club to be associated toO, as players come and go but the ethos of the club stays the same. A big thanKs to paddy, robbo, potter, roger, cav and all the managers and secretaries who put time and effort so that we can have a game of football on a saturday. I am sorry if i have missed anyone out. My final thanKs goes to phil who has taKen the club on leaps and bounds both on and off the field. In my opinion the club is in the best position it has ever been in since i have been here. Keep up the good worK everyone and maKe the club even stronger. I am sure their will be people who have left and new people who have joined when i come bacK, so good lucK to you all.
