Background
Bohemians are an amateur club by proud history and tradition, which is run by its' members for its' members, players are expected to support the club in terms of supporting events / assisting with administration in return for playing for it. Throughout the club’s long history it’s success has been based on two underlying principles that all playing members pay to play and play for the team they are picked. Character as important, if not more important than playing ability.
Expectations of players at Bohemian Football Club 2008-9
Availability
Players unable to commit every week due to season tickets, girls friends, work commitments etc will not be considered as regular playing members but may be considered as back up players who will be called upon only when needed.
Annual Subscriptions must be paid by September 1st 2008
Senior players £40
Student players £20
Under 18 players £10
Match fees (to include £1 football predictor)
Senior players £4
Student players £3
Under 18 players £2
Predictor
Players are encouraged to sell as many as predictor sheets a week as possible.
Ground
1st team and Reserves regular players will help clean up clubhouse and ground, serve food and drinks etc on a rota basis (every 4 home games).
Training
All players are expected to attend training regularly and inform their manager if they are unable to attend.
Fundraising events
All players are expected to attend 2 fundraising events a season, one before Christmas and one after. All players are encouraged to bring friends and relations to these events. If unable to attend all players are expected to make a donation.
