Chairman
Echo all of that Trig, Mallie's career RIP.
Hope we might be able to tempt him out of retirement when and if we start a veterans team in the Newcastle over 40's league in a few years time.
Loads of great Mallie memories from over the years, too many to mention, but mainly, as already noted, revolving around swearing. Echo what Trig said about his class as a footballer - remember a slimline Mallie skinning us on the 5 a side pitch after spending the summer cycling - it was like trying to mark a turbo assisted eel. I can think of no higher compliment.
Mallie will now be able to go skiing, watch rugby, drink, feck, arse etc at weekends in peace - although I do predict we might see a slightly tubbier Brendan in the months to come, as he lets himself go in a state of domestic bliss.
All the best Mallie lad, thanks for the craic.
PS Trigger - a job in censorship truly does not await you, blanking out the less bad swearwords, before letting probably the most foul word in the English language through unchecked. I'm sure Mallie will be proud when he reads it.
