My daughter, granddaughter, and I arrived in Annapolis not knowing what to expect and basking in the sunny Fall weather, weather that would be perfect for sailing. Once arriving at the harbor we were amazed at the countless number of flags waving in the air, boats and people everywhere. We were a little leery upon walking the piers to venture into the vast array of yachts and other variations of boats. As the piers swayed under foot we made our way to the yacht that Cap'n Paul informed me the boaters on the BBS use. We were astonished to say the least. The yacht was spacious and outfitted with many of the comforts of home. My daughter nodded in approval upon discovering the updated amenities and luxuries on the yacht (TV). My granddaughter fained jealousy at the thought of me venturing out to sea on my first boating summit without her. I could not stop smiling, it's going to feel like an eternity until we set sail. I can't wait.
