Of everything I packed, the following is what I found useful:
3 swimsuits (should have had more)
Shorts
T shirts
sarong (took 4, wore 2)
white dress
water shoes (I wore mine often, I found crewing around deck was sometimes tricky without them; I found a nice pair of Teva's)
sailing gloves (same as water shoes)
sunglasses (and a back-up pair)
my snorkel
flashlight (on the dinghy back to the boat after a night at the bar!!)
camera, xtra batteries
gallon-size ziplock bags (essential)
sun screen
insect repellent
Hanging toiletry bag (for back of door in the "head")
Backpack or fanny pack(essential for dinghy travel)
And most important: A good attitude with a thirst for adventure
2008 was my first BBS, and because of this Message Board, I was more than prepared for this trip. An AWESOME,unforgettable experience! Thank you Cap'n Paul and the crew of the Panacea!
