I've had it with folks telling BBSers that they must be crazy to go sailing on a small boat, in a place they have never been, with people they don't know.
So beginning now, I'm publishing a weekly commentary called,
"Debunking The Bull."
BUSINESS PEOPLE ARE NOT CRAZY!
Do you think there would be over twenty five charter companies in the British Virgin Islands, operating over two thousand yachts and renting these $500,000 to $1.2 million dollar boats to the likes of me if it wasn't both profitable and safe. Get a grip.
But you know what? The afraid ones not coming is a good thing. Them staying home is the reason that BBS works so well. Those of you who do attend BBS are alike. And I love working with you because all I do is create a fun and safe environment and you guys do all the rest.
We sail big boats, in light air, on flat seas. There's lots of sun, good food, and sometime too much to drink. We have created an organization, relationships and a vacation unlike any other.
So ask your friends only once to join you at BBS2009. And if they say something incredibly stupid like, "girl, that's too much water for me to drink" leave them at home, because they are just going to slow you down wear you out and get on your last nerve.
Thank you for attending BBS2009. I will make it the best one yet.
Sincerely,
Paul Mixon, Debunking The Bull!
