Fishing without a license in the BVI is no joke

I was researching getting a fishing license for this coming BBS since I did not want to have to worry about fishing without a license (some folks may try this wink wink). I came upon this link which is a story of how an ex cop went to jail for fishing off of Tortola without a license. I am definetly getting a $35.00 license when I go, since a $45,000 fine is much more than I can afford and jail with hardened criminals is not my idea of fun.
