Boats that are filled by captains get notified right away. We have already filled three boats most are returnees.
HOW DO YOU ASSIGN WHO IS ON WHOSE BOAT CAP'N PAUL?
The first criteria is age. The reason I use age is my twenty four year old daughter and I do not share taste in music.
And the two biggest arguments on boats are; are we a party boat or a hard sailing boat and what kind of music is played on the "ship's" music system.
I try and talk to each participant and get a feel for what they like and expect. I am working on a survey that will also let me know where participants may fit best. And occasionally I will suggest to a participant that this may not be the right vacation for them.
One of the reasons BBS works is that crews bond quickly and strangers become family. And the family rules. Over the past twelve years we have had to send two people home and two left on their own. Not a bad average.
