thats a good idear starting a boat club. My father started one in Tallahassee, Fla. in the 50ties. I live in Houston texas and I help start one here with larger boat owner. Its take some work to do that. If you have a boat show in your area maybe they will let you set up a free booth, with your 4 menber's club display. It will grow also when you all invite people to go out with you all on weekends. I suggess you all get some outside training like the Coast Guard Aux. or Power squardron. IN the 50ties Dad started his group by teaching him self as well as the group to water ski. Beleave it are not we used a 12' boat with a 35 hp motor. you have a 16' to us then that would have been a yacht.
