Lymphedema massage is a light touch so it is possible you did receive the proper treatment. An important factor is to make sure you are going to a PT who is trained in manual lymphatic massage. I am not sure why your PT did not wrap. I can only speak for my own experience in that I was wrapped after each treatment. My PT taught my husband how to wrap as well. Unfortunately I had cording as well so I was not able to learn MLD until the cording was resolved.
