Lat Flap with lymphedema?

I have just been dx'd with mild lymphedema. I had been planning to have a Lat flap in January, as I lost my implant due to a staph infection in my incision. Does anyone have any experience with Lat surgery if one has lymphedema? Thanks so much, Denise in PA
