I have lymphedema and I get a full achey feeling in the area you are talking about. This is also the main area where the edema is. I had 22 nodes removed 3 years ago and developed lymphedema before my drains were removed. It's worth having it checked out by a physical therapist trained to do so. By the way I carry the bandaides with the antibiotic ointment on them. Great to have when out and about. I can take care of things right away.
