No, the flexitouch is not a pump. It is brand new and simulates the massage that a pt does. It is expensive, but my insurance covered it as I have had a round of cellulitis in my upper right quadrant. I am also having trouble with my right hip - too much heaviness in my arm and upper trunk.
I guess our routine is just to keep on keepin' on. Wrap, sleeve, pt, etc, etc.
