I retired in June. My ld was caused by keyboarding. Our school district has all of the special ed documents on an online system. I went through a process called Reasonable Accommodation, and the district agreed to fund a 4 hour assistant to do my keyboarding. Reasonable Accommodation is a process established by federal law. It's not easy, as the hearing board wants to trip you up and make it sound like you're a liar. I started a committee at my union to help people through the process. Nancy
