Went to see the GP who prescribed the Evista. He said it can cause swelling. Just my luck. I'm glad other people don't have the problem. There is no other drug he can give me, so I guess I'm stuck. Wish I could take Boniva or Fosamax, but at least I took them for 2 yrs. before the acid reflux became an issue. I did try a nasal spray but the spray gave me lesions in my nose. I see my PT again in November for a checkup. Maybe MLD is in the cards for me.
