Any time that lymph nodes are removed there is a chance of getting lympedema, I got it only after a month from surgery. I had a friend who got it 12 years after ( she flew on a plane ) . trouble is once you get it you always have it. So every precausion is worthwhile. No injections, no blood pressure taken etc. from that arm.
