I don't really understand Lymphedema all that much. I know to watch for swelling and then I imagine that it is swelling. I got a tape measure to check - a few weeks ago it was 15 in (yes I have chubby arms from the get go), this week it was like 15 1/4 (but it could be because I wasn't in the same location, I re-measured and hit 15 again). Anyway, is there pain associated with Lymphedema? My right arm feels kinda numb/heavy but that could be from the surgery itself, but I have some pain as well - I think it's muscle pain from it not really being used. Am I making sense? Please advise.
