I had a bilateral mastectomy over a year ago, too, but I get pain in my armpit in the side that was prophylactic. I had a few nodes out on both sides, and when I get that pain, I wonder if I need massage or lymphatic massage to keep things flowing. My pain comes and goes, and is strong enough to be startling when it happens. I try to relate it to my activity level with that arm -- but no pattern. I will be curious as to what you find out -- is it just nerves?
