I have had cellulitis 5 times in the last 6 years. Each time I was put on IV treatment with visits to the doctor's office 4 consecutive days--then on oral antibiotics. I am going to South Africa in May for 3 weeks and am worried about a recurrence while there. Has anybody treated cellulitis with just oral antibiotics? If so, did cellulitis clear up? Also which antibiotic did you take?
