I would begin by checking with your docs re a local hospital/clinic that has a certified lymphedema therapist. Then check with them to determine if they have a program for patients without insurance coverage. It seems very unusual that a health insurance would not cover such treatment...it is so minimal and the complications down the road could be so expensive. At any rate the American Cancer Society would be a good place to get more information re treatment. Some therapy can be arranged on a "pay as you go plan".
