Hey, I was soooo excited, my sleeve and gauntlet came Friday--but then, I couldn't get it on
I thought at first it was just my inability to use either hand right now
Then I thought, well maybe its too small and they didn't measure it correctly
Then I thought, huh, they did measure me, but what they did NOT do was test to see what gradient of pressure I would need--it is the lightest they could get through this company--20
I started thinking, the temporary one they have on me now is tight and difficult for me to get on to begin w/, I bet I don't need more than between a 5-10 gradient--I emailed the therapist who sounded just as disappointed w/ her response as I did. She told me to bring them in on Monday and we'll try to figure out the real cause.
She hadn't thought about how small I am and the gradient issue.
The other issue, which I had found out about on Friday was that the tools that some people need to use to get their sleeves on don't come in kids' sizes because they expect that an adult is helping a kid put it on--therefore we'll have to create something for me.
Ho-Hum
Does square one ever move? As in forward!?!
After two months you'd think I have what I need to move on w/ my life by now. No, too easy! Wouldn't want to do anything easy now, right
