Hi, Sarah,
Since your lymphedema diagnosis was prompt and recent, you should definitely be seeing real progress by now. But three times a week for massage and wrapping is not standard protocol and may be delaying your progress. The standard is at least four days a week. The National Lymphedema Network has a Position Paper on Therapy that discusses treatment protocol. You can find it here:
http://www.lymphnet.org
And there's a page on StepUp-SpeakOut.org about what to expect from therapy here:
http://www.stepup-speakout.org/Finding_a_Qualified_Lymphedema_Therapist.htm
Scroll down to the section titled "What Should a Therapist Do About Your Lymphedema?"
You might want to copy either of those and take them to your therapist as a way of opening a discussion with her about your expectations for treatment.
Hope you're soon seeing real reduction in all the swelling. Do keep us posted,
Cassie
