Hi, Beth,
I'm really sorry you're dealing with lymphedema. It really does take the wind out of your sails. The only good news I can offer is that being active is good for lymphedema control (as long as you work back up to it very slowly and carefully!)
I have both Solaris and JoviPak night garments. Unlike the ReidSleeve, they're soft and fairly flexible. They're hot in the summer, but because they're flexible you can put them in the refrigerator during the day, and the foam chips inside the quilting hold the cool for a long time after you put them on.
Solaris is here:

And JoviPak is here:

There's another company that makes similar night garments called TelestoMedtech. I haven't tried that one but know people who have and like it too. It's here:

Wrapping every night is effective, but it's a huge pain. The night garments are worlds easier, machine washable, dryable and relatively comfortable.
BarbaraB mentioned Lymphnet.org for lymphedema information, and you can also check out:

Among other things, there's a page of coping tips there from other women that can be really comforting.
Hope you get this all under good control soon and can get on with the things you WANT to do!
Cassie
