I had so much difficulty getting my first sleeve and gauntlet to fit - it took from November to May of last year to get it right - I quit counting how many different garments were ordered. It really is a tough thing to go through. I am with you - sometimes I think the lymphedema is worse than the cancer treatments, because there is no end in sight. Although lymphedema can't end our lives and cancer can. Anyway, I feel your pain, literally. I am still working with my therapist to try to get this truncal swelling down, and it is so painful it brings tears to my eyes at times and I can't get my mind off it. Hang in there, and feel free to vent all you want. I don't know what I would do without the support I find here.
