Hi, Sarah,
When you say "gauntlet" do you mean the fingerless type? They make my fingers swell too. If so, you'd really be helped by a custom compression glove. There are a number of companies that make them. Your therapist should be able to measure you for them or refer you to a well-trained garment fitter.
