"They" never wrapped me--didn't think I needed it. LE therapist gave me all the supplies I have--elastumull, mollelast, foam sheets of various kinds, and tubi-grip of everysize known to man.
pain management guy, certified LE therapist, taught me to wrap my fingers, hands, and arms w/ the LE therapists supplies--the cotton mesh isn't made small enough for me so the LE therapist kept that. The foam padding we've tried, but it is too thick to go under either the bandages or the tubi-grip--even when we did get it under, for a moment or two, it either negated the effect of the compression of the outer garment, or if we went tighter w/ the bandages over it, my fingers turned purple--it just didn't fit. We tried to cut the foam pads in half (thickness wise) as this is the problem, but it just falls apart. We tried swell spots, but the foam chips inside are the problem, they don't make them thin enough for what I need. We called every manufacturer, then we tried to make foam chips out of the foam pads, but everything just unravels once you cut through the side seams of the stuff--microfil is just as effective.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks again
