I'm a 29 year old Pro Country Singer/Songwiter and am looking for a rock out contemporary country band. I currently live in NYC where there is NO country music. I've been trying to put together a band here but have had no luck in finding the right musicians. I've got my sights set on Nashville but I would rather find the right band, anywhere in the U.S., who is looking to make music their life and career. Since there are very few opportunites to build an audience here in NY I would like to get out there with a band and start building a fan base before making that move to Nashville. And that's not to say that I'm looking for a band to use and then loose. I want to find a dedicated, hard working group of people to take this journey with. I love the collaborative process when creating new music. And I love being on stage with a group of people that you can trust and count on. I'm 29 years old and very image conscious. So I'm looking for others in that age range who are also concerned with their image. Let's face it....it ain't just about the music anymore. You've got to look good!
I know it's going to be hard to find the right group so I'm opening myself up to any and all areas of the U.S. Location is not as important as finding the right group of people. I would prefer to find a currently gigging band but I'm willing to consider a startup if the right mix of people are on board. I've got a number of songs written and ready to go and I'm happy to supply a demo if interested. However I will not submit a demo to anyone who doesn't have something for me to listen to as well. If you haven't recorded anything, then you're probably not playing at the level I'm looking to be at. The recording doesn't necessarily have to be from the current project but you should have some experience in a studio that I can listen to. Other than that, I'm a low key, good guy who just loves music and the process of creating it. If you think you fit the bill, hit me back and lets talk. Hope to hear from ya'll.
