I play rhthym-but mostly lead metal-original stuff. I like intricate riffs and agressive, punchy, melodic mixtures...if that sounds like it made sense.

Bands that influenced my ear, not that I really listen to 'em anymore (since I chucked most of my collection) Andy Larouqe; King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Helloween, Slayer, Overkill, Iced Earth, In Flames, Hypocrisy, Priest, Danzig,Metallica of course! Cindarella, Yngwie Malmsteen, Maiden, old Sepeltura, Randy Rhodes, etc...and lots of old and new metal bands.
Not that I'm the same sound or anywhere as good as these guys...also Seventh Angel, Tourniquet.
Not to get to far ahead of myself, but if given the oppourtunity I think I'd like get on a secular lable. I think there's more room for evangalism in the mainstream.
