Our church (St. Marks Lutheran in St. Charles, IL) is seeking a leader for our Praise Band (6 musicians; drummers, rhythm and lead guitarist) and 12 alternating singers for weekly services. This is a paid position. I am the leader of the Search committee, but also have been involved as a musician for three years. After 10 years of service our leaders are stepping down to tend to their successful businesses. We're looking for someone who can handle keyboards, select music, lead weekly musician and singer rehearsals. St. Marks is a sacramental liturgy, but the Praise tradition is well established with 33% of membership attending the services.
