I had asked about this last year but could not find the thread so here goes again. 68 427 4speed new starter, battery, battery cables, cleaned and checked the ground connections, connections on the radiator support by the battery and sometimes it will crank and other times it will not. Turning the key when it does not crank I see fluctuations in the gage readings but nothing at the starter. I hooked up a remote button across the posts on the starter and it cranks/starts and runs fine. Any ideas on what to look for what wires to replace from point A to point B or is it something else ?
