Hot starter stuff. If memory serves, and that is a huge "if"., you used to buy a different spring--a bendix spring I think- and it was an AC part. It replaced the spring in the solnoid. GM had this spring for exactly this problem of hot starters. Anyone remember that sort of thing. Morley
