HI Jon,
In our city Calgary there is a company that takes any format and turns it into DVD.
I took in our 8mm from 1960-70 and they put it onto DVD for our family. It was expensive 4-5 years ago, but I beleive it has come down.
Let me know if you want more info about the company here. I found them in the yellow pages under video.

My 67 was in a one stall garage since 1971 till I bought it about 18 years ago. The guy I bought it from in California video taped the car coming out of that garage. It took them 4 hours to get the car out of that garage.Need to find a way to get it on Utube from a VHS tape ? Any ideas ?
