No points. I'm running an MSD 6AL and MSD Blaster coil (all discreetly painted black). This is one of my few deviations from stock, as I will never go back to using points on anything I drive again if I can help it!
I don't suspect the recommended OEM spark plugs (AC 43N's) would work very long with any type of HEI system anyway. These were the old non-resistor type of plug, and were not designed for the kind of output that an HEI system delivers.
I have been using the AC R44XLS plugs with good results, but their longevity is not great. I will probably give the NGK plugs that Bigiron recommends a try and see what happens.
