grant, i know what your saying about the ac plugs. i have used them before with mixed emotions also. back when i was drag racing i got into useing ngk v-power plugs. they worked great and i have used them ever since. the plug i run in my biscayne is a ngk v-power plug and the # is yr5 7052. i also have a msd distributor and msd 6al box. hope this helps. thanks, bill
