If anyone out there knows web design or anything about managing/maintaining a web site, e-mail me through the site. I am considering turning this site over to someone else if there is anyone interested. Many of you e-mail me and ask when various portions of the main site are going to be updated and I always have to answer I really don't know. To be perfectly honest, I have lost a lot of the passion I once I had for the main body of the web site. It's been 8 years already and it just gets harder each year to find the time to maintain/update the main content. And my current job often has me out of town, as does my own personal interests (Utah is way too beautiful to stay in one place). So during the week, often all I want to do is just relax. I'm kind of starting to feel like I am letting the main site down. Maybe a fresh perspective on things from someone else will re-energize things a bit.
This whole thing started out as a web design project at a university in WI (I got an A) and I never imagined what it would grow to become. I only put it out on the internet just to see if I could reel in some others who had the same interest in Chevys that I had. I figured maybe 25-30 people, tops. Boy was I wrong.
I don't think it would be a stretch to say that this web site has greatly influenced the interest that these cars have gotten over the past 8 years. So for that reason I definitely do not want the site to fade away. But I am only one person and can only do so much with the site anymore.
Anyways - just seeing if there is anyone interested out there in maybe taking over. I'm going to keep this posted at the top of the message board and in doing so you will not be able to respond. Just e-mail me through the main site or start another thread on the board.
Thanks everyone.
