What should I do???

Guys, I'm @ a crossroads on what to do with my '69 Caprice. It was an original 396 car (shortblock still under the hood).
What I am stuck on is should I use my LS1 1969 427 for the Caprice or install a 454 I have ready to go in? I thought I would save the 427 for a sport coupe Impala though already own a '70 Impala sport coupe L48 car. I know out of all the 427 full size cars in '69 most of them were Caprice models. Not sure what to do here, thanks.
