I agree Don the part may be the same, but when I bought the bew GM grille years ago, the screw hole parts (for headlight bezels)of grill were already cut off. So I thought there were 2 types.
Not 100% if I still have receipt from 1982-3, but anyhow, that is what can recall and see on the grille now. Can not recall the prior original (pitted) grill, since it got tossed. I know, shame on me.
