Roger,The eight 1/4 inch spacers that are needed,I chose round and what I found to work well where the thick washers used on the steering box bolts on GM cars.Some are thinner than others but they do use 1/4s on most I found. I did use the newer GM sway bar that is available(Under $100@ GM) and yes the middle bend is a little different but hardly noticable,A heck of a lot closer than those after market bar kits.
