O.K., I'm gonna throw one at cha....
After studying your image, I see this was modified after paint and probably after final Assembly at the factory.
I would therefore deduce this is/was a dealer installed option...either because it somehow was not installed at the factory (strike,oops, or a Monday/Friday car)or the customer wanted power door locks to purchase the car. A dealer would have done just about anything to sell the car if that's what the customer wanted.
